PUSKASBAZNAS.COM - Center of strategic Studies, The National  Board of Zakat (PUSKAS BAZNAS)  visited  Cianting village, which is located about 25 Km from city center, in Purwakarta district, West Java on Wednesday (10/10).  The aim of the survey is to measure IDZ in the village. The program implemented include economic dimensions, health dimensions,  da'wah dimensions and dimensions of education. The program was initiated by LAZ Rumah Zakat.

Indeks Desa Zakat is obtained by interviewing the Program companion from LAZ Rumah Zakat, secretary of the village, and also some communities. In this occasion Puskas BAZNAS aslo assisted by several representatives from LAZ Rumah Zakat.

Based on the survey, the potential of Cianting village is agriculture and livestock while the problem in the village is the high number of unemployement.. The majority of villagers work as farm workers and factory workers with the income of Rp. 1.500.000 per month. ed.

In addition to problems in the economic field, there are also problems with level of education. This was due to the low income of the villagers, so they did not have enough money to send their children to school.
