BANDUNG (28/01): The National Board of Zakat (BAZNAS) opening services to Muallaf (new Muslims) to strengthen and deepen the faith of Islam. The service is the form of Islamic basic education which one of the most important coaching process for the Muallaf after conversion.

"They are given assistance and specialized counseling intensively about the teachings of Islam to be able to implement daily," said Chief Muallaf Center BAZNAS (MCB), Hadi Handoko in between events daurah at Daarut Tauhid Islamic Boarding, Bandung (28/1). 

This Daurah (speciall forum) has become one of the activities of Muallaf to strengthen the obedience. The activity was based zakat funding, to provides Tawheed guidance, muhasabah, as well as soul management activities.

About 150 participants from the various institutions and tribes involved in this activities for example from PITI (Chinese Islamic Association Indonesia), HBMI (Association Bina Muallaf Indonesia), Foundation Karim OEI, MCI (Muallaf Center Indonesia), MCD (Muallaf Center Darussalam), AMMA foundation, LMA Al-Azhar mosque, Sunda Kelapa mosque, Pondok Pesantren Muallaf An-naba Center and Pondok Pesantren Muallaf Nuu War Papua.

"Hopefully this Daurah it can also be a means of gathering and strengthening social support, psychological, as well as education," he said.
