The training was opened by the Director of the Center of Strategic Studies BAZNAS, Dr. Irfan Syauqi Beik and Chairman of the North Sumatra BAZNAS, Drs. H. Amansyah Nasution, MSP. While the training activities were delivered by the deputy director of the research and studies division, Dr. Mohamad Soleh Nurzaman.

In the training it was mentioned about the urgency of the institution to use the IZN measuring tools in facilitating the management to measure the performance of each zakat institution. It was also stated the urgency of the institution to use IDZ measuring tools in facilitating the distribution amil to determine the distribution of productive zakat with a community base. It is expected that the results of the NZI and ZVI training activities are that the participating amilists can use both of these measuring instruments and implement them in their own institutions.
