BAZNAS Rembang Regency channeling of ambulance car to be utilized by the people in Sale District, the handover ceremony was held on meeting hall of Tahunan Village, Wednesday 10 May 2017. Besides, BAZNAS also handovering the  program named Unfit Habitation House (Rumah Tidak Layak Huni – RTLH) to the Gandrirejo Village people, Sedan District.

This year, BAZNAS was distributed the scholarship in amount of Rp 265 million to poor student, starting in elementary class, junior, and senior high school with the nominal Rp 200.000 per student, in addition as well as for the university students.

Head of BAZNAS Rembang Mr. Abdul Wahid Hasby said the ambulance car owned by BAZNAS, but it be placed in Sale District, in other words Baznas Regency has the use rights and there is no rent charged.

“However, its usage be coordinated by the Head of Regency, while if the people meant to give the alms they will be welcome. The alms will be used for operational expenditure such as for driver payment, with a note do not beg in situation the user is poor” he explained.

Previously, BAZNAS has placed the ambulance car in several regencies to be utilized by the people. There are Kraga Regency, Pamotan Regency, Sulang Regency and one standby unit at Rembang Regency. Meanwhile, the Regent in his briefing ask BAZNAS to make clear the status of ambulance car holding, whether it will be handovered to the Regency Office so that the officer of Sale regency could take over the operational expenditure.

“the ambulance support that could be used as hearse is the symbol of aspiration and needed of Sale society thath be accomodated by BAZNAS. Sale which located in the border area and far away from other regencies is only have 2 units of ambulance car” he said.

He reminds about the Standard Operational Procedure. It’s related to know more about the responsible party to look after the car. Besides, the income source by alms or zakat collected by BAZNAS is unoptimal. Therefore, th Regent want to due the Local Regulation about the zakat payment obligation of Goverment Employees  in order to maximalize zakat collection and distribution among the people.
