BAZNAS participated in helping victims of flash floods and landslides that hit Pamijahan and Leuwiliang sub-districts, Bogor Regency, West Java on Wednesday (22/6).

This flash flood disaster occurred due to the high intensity of rain so that the Cisarua River overflowed. This resulted in a number of houses and public facilities damaged. The estimation of another material losses also stated that 39 goats of the Qurban animals were also swept away due to this flash flood. In addition, there was a death toll of 1 person. Meanwhile, another resident was declared missing and is still in the process of being evacuated.

In response to this disaster, BAZNAS moved quickly to assist in the evacuation of victims and open access roads that were buried by landslides. In addition, BAZNAS also helped clean up flood-affected areas and set up water kitchen services for disaster survivors.
