What does WZF Day 1 offer? There is a Plenary Session 1 raising the topic; Review of The Role of World Zakat Forum in the post-Covid-19 Economic Recovery. The session is chaired by BAZNAS’s selected commissioner; Dr Nadratuzzaman Hosen, with the speakers who are Haji Ahmad Shukri Yusoff (Deputy Secretary-General of WZF/PPZ CEO), Muhammad Lawal Maidoki (Deputy Secretary-General of WZF/ SOZECOM Chairman), and Azara Abukari Haroun (CEO of Zakat and Sadaqa Trust Fund (Z&STF) Ghana). 

The opening ceremony is further conducted after plenary session 1. A Welcoming Speech by Secretary-General of WZF is delivered by Prof. Dr Bambang Sudibyo, MBA, CA. Also, Welcoming Speech and Official Inauguration of the 9th World Zakat Forum International Conference Online 2020 is delivered by His Excellency Vice President of Indonesia, H.E. Prof. Dr K.H. Ma'ruf Amin (Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia).

Furthermore, H.E Jenderal TNI (Purn.) Fachrul Razi, S.I.P., S.H., M.H. (Minister of Religious Affairs, Republic of Indonesia) speaks at the keynote speech 1, while Mr Salah Jelassi (Head of IsDB Regional Hub Indonesia) address the Keynote speech 2.

In the final run, plenary session 2 that covers the topic of Post COVID 19 global economy Activation: Adoption of technology in zakat administration Moderator chaired by Mr Mokhammad Makhdum happens. The speakers are Azim Kidwai (Director of National Zakat Foundation Worldwide), Yasmina Francke, CEO of South Africa National Zakat Fund (SANZAF) and Saipolyazan Mat Yusop (CEO of Lembaga Zakat Selangor).
