In time the growing phenomenon of technological management adoption in zakat institutions, the new coronavirus diseases (COVID-19) has been spreading worldwide recently.
This pandemic has been creating significant challenges for zakat administration worldwide. Such challenges demand the role of zakat in facing COVID-19 consequences. The topic of zakat, technology and COVID-19 has thus become a new arena among the experts for discussions.
The 4th ICONZ which discusses ZakaTech for inclusive development has received manuscripts which offer novelties for zakat literature development.
Authors from across different countries have shared their thoughts through scholarly writings submitted to the 4th ICONZ. In response to this positive participation, the academic committee of this event has agreed to select some papers for publication of International Journal of Zakat (IJAZ) Vol 5 No 3 2020.
It is expected that IJAZ Vol 5 No 3 2020 to publish a special issue on zakat administration and technology adoption.
